Dario de Conti began his winemaking studies as a farm-raised fourteen-year-old in Treviso, Italy. After obtaining his Masters at Padova University, he worked in Italian wineries for eight years before moving to the US to continue his craft. De Conti has now made wine in the United States for the last twenty years. CABERNET SAUVIGNON • CALIFORNIA This exploration into California Cabernet Sauvignon begins with respect in the vineyard, treating each vine as the beginning of an untold story. Grapes are harvested at theirpeak, carefully pressed, then fermented in a combination of oak and steel. With an approach of care and purity in allowing the fruit to speak its own voice, our cabernet sauvignon yields a character of brooding dark fruit, from brambles to stewed plum; giving way to a balanced finish of toast oak and seamlessly integrated tannic structure.
